Summary/Objective
The Project Manager is responsible for managing regional projects for development and execution at remote sites in North America.
Position Description

- Manages third party engineering and construction companies.
- Oversees procurement for contract scope and performance guarantees.
- Oversees project’s monthly and periodic review of EPC’s status, including but not limited to labor, material inquires, quality control, quality assurance, safety, budget and labor force.
- Responsible for EPC management and oversight.
- Prepares cost estimates for proposals and reviews projects bids and analysis.
- Monitor construction schedules for risk and proactively resolve impacts to project delivery.
- Manages project construction and start-up in coordination with design engineer, construction contractor, equipment supplier, and Customers etc.
- Supports financing and lender reporting.
- Validates project invoices for payment.
- Prepares all required periodic reports.
- Ensures compliance with local and state requirements.
- Ensures compliance of contractors with environmental permits.
- Participates in site visits and assists in preparing proposals for acquisitions and new projects.
- Coordinates the monitoring of fabrication Shops with product delivering and schedule control.
- Manages the identification of project risks and implementation of appropriate mitigation(s).
- Creates a handover document for the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- BS in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent industry experience
- 10 years experiences working in one or more aspects of the design, construction, and operation of utility, industrial or institutional projects.
Preferred Education and Experience
- PMP certifications
- Strong project management experience
- Demonstrated field experience with $1-5 multi-million-dollar project experience
- Project experience to include low-carbon fuels, wind, and/or solar
- Managing contractors
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Must have large commercial / light industrial construction experience.
- Strong communicator both verbal and in writing
- Strong knowledge of labor law, safety, and contractor practices
- Self-starter, team oriented and strong management capabilities
